Roblox is a platform full of games. However there is one game that stands out…it is Emergency Response: Liberty County. This is a role-play game which has a lot of new updates and features all the time. In this article we will be looking at how the game grew and how it is now working on upcoming updates.
Vehicles Vehicles are one of the most essential features in the game, making traveling around the map a lot easier. All players other than jailed individuals are able to spawn their own vehicle. Players in the River City Police Department, Liberty County Sheriff's Office, River City Fire Department and the Liberty County Department of Transportation (DOT) teams are able to spawn unique vehicles. There are currently 76+ different vehicles. Vehicles in each category feature different looks or better performance. For example, vehicles in the Exotic category feature excellent performance, being faster than vehicles in other categories. However, better performing vehicles are usually more expensive than others. Vehicle Health All in-game vehicles have limited health. If the driver crashes into building/terrain, gets shot in their vehicle during combat mode, or knocks down a pole, their vehicle will be damaged. The damage done will vary from speed and angle of the impact. Once the vehicle reaches 25% health, it will begin to smoke, indicating that the vehicle is damaged severely. If the vehicle has no health left, it will catch on fire. This will damage the health of all players inside or near the vehicle, as well as limit the maximum speed. All vehicles also have a health UI visible to the driver only. It is located above the health bar, which is located on the bottom left corner. Vehicles can take damage when shot. The only time this is possible is when the driver has combat mode active. Shooting the vehicle’s tires can pop them, which can make driving a lot harder. Fuel All vehicles in game will consume fuel. This can be refilled via the gas stations or the DOT gas can. When on low fuel, the fuel indicator will turn yellow. If on a critical level, it will turn red. If it has run out, the vehicle will be unable to move until it is refuelled. Brake and accelerating functions will not respond when fuel is depleted. As of the March 18, 2021 update, the fire department and the DOT office will have their own diesel tanks that can be used to refill fire department & DOT vehicles only. Robberies The Family Jewels is a jewellery store featured in Emergency Response: Liberty County. The store was added on June 7, 2020, along with the Jewellery Store Robbery. It is located in the middle row of the Shopping Outlet, west of the Hospital and south of the Tool Store. It currently operates under the name of Family Jewels. The location was remodelled on September 17, 2022. The Jewellery Store can be robbed using the Drill, which can be purchased for $1,000 in the Tool Store. In order to rob a case, equip the Drill in the inventory, approach one of the cases in the store, and click the interaction key. Since the Drill lasts for 4 attempts, players can rob 4 different cases at once. Each case will give players anywhere between $800–1,400, with an average reward of $1,000. Once robbed, the store will sound an alarm, regardless of the player's success. This will alert law enforcement as well. In order to successfully complete the robbery, the criminal must play a mini-game. The min-igame requires the player to keep a bar in the centre in the green area for 20 seconds. This can be done by continuously clicking the screen to prevent the bar from going too far to the left or right. As the game continues, the red area will move closer to the centre Like on other robberies, once they are robbed, the player must stay alive in the game for 4 minutes without dying, leaving the game, switching teams, or being arrested. New Features Game Volume Controls: Have you ever been unable to hear other players in-game due to a loud siren passing by? Well now you can! In your client settings, you can now adjust various game volumes including Vehicles, Sirens, and Guns. More sound types will be added to this later on. DOT Traffic Barriers: Unlock-able at the Senior Technician rank, DOT workers can now place road barriers. Safely secure your construction zones as you work to improve the infrastructure of Liberty County. Tow Wrecked Vehicles: In Major Server Calls (MSC), DOT can now tow wrecked vehicles after all fire is put out. You are now able to tow and impound the wrecked vehicles to clear it from the scene to help finish the call. Shopping Outlet: Enjoy the newly updated appearance of the Shopping Outlet.
